When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are typically packed and dispatched within 2–5 business days. During collection launches, sales or busy periods, processing times may be slightly longer.

Do you ship Australia-wide?

Yes! We ship throughout Australia. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Will I receive tracking?

Absolutely. Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking details.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If your order hasn't been packed yet, we'll do our best to help. Please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been dispatched, we can't make changes or cancel it.

Our Candles

Where are your candles made?

Every Candle Therapy candle is hand-poured in Australia in small batches to ensure quality and consistency.

What wax do you use?

We use a premium coconut soy wax blend that provides a clean, even burn and excellent fragrance throw.

What kind of wicks do you use?

Our candles are made with high-quality cotton wicks, carefully selected to suit each fragrance and vessel for an optimal burn.

Are your fragrance oils safe?

Yes. We use premium fragrance oils that comply with Australian industry standards and are designed specifically for candle making.

Are your candles vegan?

Our candles contain no animal-derived waxes. However, if vegan certification is important to you, please contact us for the most up-to-date ingredient information.

Memory Candles

How does a Memory Candle work?

Every Memory Candle begins with your story. Share the memory you'd like to capture, and we'll use your words as inspiration to thoughtfully create a custom fragrance that reflects the feeling, atmosphere and emotion behind it. Once your scent has been crafted, your candle is hand-poured and delivered to your door.

What kind of memories can I share?

Anything meaningful to you.

Your memory could be about a loved one, a childhood home, a favourite holiday, your wedding day, a special place, a family tradition, a beloved pet or simply a feeling you'd like to relive.

There are no rules—every story is unique.

How much detail should I include?

The more detail you share, the more inspiration we have to create your fragrance.

You might describe:

• Places or locations
• Seasons or weather
• Flowers, food or nature
• People or special moments
• Emotions or feelings
• Specific scents you remember

If you're not sure where to start, don't worry. Even a few sentences can be enough.

Will my candle smell exactly like my memory?

Not necessarily.

Scent is deeply personal, and memories are often made up of many different experiences. Rather than recreating a scent exactly, we create a fragrance inspired by the feeling, mood and essence of the memory you've shared.

Our goal is to create something that feels familiar, comforting and uniquely yours.

Is every Memory Candle unique?

Yes. Each candle is individually created from the story you provide. While we use our signature scent creation process, no two Memory Candles are exactly the same.

Can I request specific fragrance notes?

Absolutely. If there are particular scents you'd love us to include—or avoid—you can let us know when sharing your story. We'll do our best to incorporate your preferences while creating a balanced fragrance.

Who creates my fragrance?

Your fragrance is carefully curated using our signature scent system and premium fragrance library. Every blend is thoughtfully designed to reflect the story you've shared while creating a beautiful candle you'll love to burn.

Will my custom fragrance be saved?

Yes. Every Memory Candle fragrance is carefully archived in our fragrance library under its own unique Memory Number.

This means your custom scent profile is securely stored, allowing us to recreate your candle in the future whenever you'd like to revisit your memory.

What is my Memory Number?

Your Memory Number is a unique reference assigned to your custom fragrance once your Memory Candle has been created.

You'll receive this number with your completed order. We recommend keeping it somewhere safe, as it allows us to locate your archived fragrance and recreate your candle.

Can I reorder my Memory Candle?

Absolutely. Simply provide your Memory Number when placing your order, and we'll recreate your original fragrance using your archived scent profile.

It's a beautiful way to revisit a cherished memory or gift the same meaningful fragrance to someone special.

Will my fragrance be exactly the same when I reorder?

Yes. We carefully document and archive every custom fragrance we create. While minor variations can naturally occur due to the handmade nature of our candles and raw materials, we follow your original scent profile as closely as possible to provide a consistent fragrance experience each time.

How long will it take to receive my candle?

As each Memory Candle is custom-created and hand-poured to order, please allow additional production time before dispatch.

Current production times are displayed on the product page and may vary during busy periods.

Can I send a Memory Candle as a gift?

Yes. A Memory Candle makes a thoughtful and meaningful gift for birthdays, anniversaries, memorials, weddings, new homes or simply to let someone know you're thinking of them.

Simply enter the recipient's shipping details at checkout.

Can I return my Memory Candle?

As each Memory Candle is custom-made just for you, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or personal fragrance preference.

If your candle arrives damaged or we've made an error with your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Burning Your Candle

Why is the first burn important?

The first burn helps the wax melt evenly across the surface, reducing the chance of tunnelling and helping your candle perform beautifully from start to finish.

How long should I burn my candle?

For the best experience, burn your candle for 2–4 hours at a time. Avoid burning for more than four hours continuously.

Why should I trim the wick?

Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before each burn to encourage a cleaner flame, reduce soot and help your candle last longer.

Fragrance

How do I choose a scent online?

Our Scent Guide is the perfect place to start. It describes each fragrance, highlights its key notes and helps you discover the scents that best suit your style and space.

Do you offer sample sizes?

Yes. Our Discovery Set lets you experience four mini candles before committing to a full-size favourite.

Returns

What if my candle arrives damaged?

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage. We'll assess the issue and provide a replacement, repair or refund where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Do you offer refunds for change of mind?

We don't offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind or fragrance preference. As scent is a personal experience, we encourage customers to read our Scent Guide or try our Discovery Set if they're unsure.

Can I send a candle as a gift?

Of course. Candle Therapy candles make thoughtful gifts for birthdays, housewarmings, celebrations or simply letting someone know you're thinking of them.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes. Digital Gift Cards are available and are delivered instantly by email, making them the perfect last-minute gift.
